GOGO Hervanta will be home to an extensive range of Life Fitness solutions, including new innovations; Hammer Strength Box and Run, Ride, Row Studio
December 20, 2021 – Finnish health club operator GOGO opened its latest club, GOGO Hervanta, on Monday 20th December.
The 2300m² gym has been fully equipped by global fitness equipment manufacturer Life Fitness, in an extension to the longstanding partnership which dates to 2004. In this time, all three GOGO Sports Centers and seven GOGO Express Gyms have become home to equipment from the supplier’s portfolio of brands, which includes Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, Cybex and ICG.
Life Fitness worked in close collaboration with GOGO to develop the new Hervanta club, understanding the customer’s needs, and that of its members, to create unique experiences aligned with GOGO’s aims to capitalise on industry trends and differentiate from competitors.
Members will be amongst the first in Europe to experience the Hammer Strength Box; a new, immersive, small group training solution combining strength, functional, and cardio performance training equipment with programming designed by expert coaches.
The club also includes a Run, Ride, Row Studio equipped with Life Fitness’s Integrity Series premium treadmills with Performance Run View, Heat Performance Row, and ICG® IC8 indoor cycles.
Hammer Strength Plate Loaded equipment has been customized with frame colors in-line with the GOGO brand; products from the Hammer Strength Select, HD Elite and HD Athletic lines have also been installed.
In addition, the gym floor will house cardio equipment from Life Fitness’s premium Integrity and Elevation series, with all pieces featuring interactive consoles. The club’s holistic offering also provides members with access to a thermal Body and Mind studio, a spinning studio, and a large group fitness studio. In Finland, GOGO is also considered a long-term veteran, and is very well-known for its high-quality group fitness.
As part of its role in the project, Life Fitness provided full consultancy to develop the layout and interior of the gym, including support with flooring, lighting, and technology solutions, as well as comprehensive staff training.
